Venue:

Members from Lioness Club of Simpang Renggam led by President How Lee Lee visited the Senior Citizens & orphanage home at Persatuan Kebajikan Ellijah Misi Kulai. We donated foodstuffs (rice, garlic, onion, potatoes, ikan bilis, soap powder, sardine, canned beans, cooking oils, biscuits, dried chilli, flour, meehoon, salt, sugar, etc).
The home have 20 male orphans at age 4 and 16 years old respectively and one female orphan at the age of 12. They stay in the terrace houses (rented), 15 women senior citizens stay in another rented terrace house. Most of the senior citizens suffered from diabetes, high blood pressure & sakit jiwa. The oldest old folk is Mdm A Kanagam A/P Armugam who is now 100 years old. Out of the 15 senior citizen there is one Malay & one Chinese, the rest are Indian. (1 MALAYSIA)
Mr Philip is the person-in-charge, the monthly expenses for the home is RM 8,180. They have to cook and serve food for 45 orphans and old folks everyday. It is a large amount of expenses for the home.
Thanks to 12 donors who support this project in cash or in kinds. 17 participants including six lionesses & their family members & friends of lionesses led by OC Lns How Lee Lee make this project a success.
